My massage style encompasses a wide range of techniques, blended in a flowing experience. I combine Swedish flow with personalized deep tissue, myofascial work and the broad circular strokes of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi in a synergy of skill and intent. My knowledge of anatomy assists me to be precise and direct in my work. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the University of New England in Maine, and massage training at the Center for Massage in Asheville, North Carolina.
After almost 10 years my passion remains in the healing space of massage and it’s rejuvenating and educational potential. The profound inspiration I have experienced during a decade of body work is central to my approach to every session.

Jen Hudyma has always had a passion for learning, and a nurturing spirit. Growing up in Montana gave Jen a deep appreciation for the connection that exists between all creatures and the earth. After receiving a B.A. in Anthropology, and a B.S. in History, Jen spent 6 months in the forest in Argentina, studying the behavior of capuchin monkeys. This experience, paired with a deep appreciation for Eastern world-views and healing modalities, brought Jen to Portland, and to East West College. Jen’s always had an interest in the ways people, and our fellow creatures, bond with one another, and create space for themselves to grow, learn, and heal. She believes her role as a massage therapist is to lead others to this space, and to facilitate the process of becoming self-aware. All creatures on this earth have the need for healthy touch, and for the knowledge that they are safe and able to be well in their bodies, and minds. The energy that moves through us, and through the universe, can become stagnant if it is not tended to, and enriched through our daily experiences.
Becoming licensed in 2011 was the first step in Jen’s journey as an LMT. Jen looks forward to a lifetime of learning, and helping her clients to find healing, and peace within their bodies and minds. Each session is tailored to the specific needs of the client, incorporating Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial release, PNF, Reflexology, and Thai techniques. She has a love for Thai massage, with future plans to go to Thailand and further study the healing philosophy, and the energetic techniques that are so intertwined with all bodywork.

Balance is key. Jen strongly believes that robust wellness and vitality are the results of a life in balance; a balance of physical health, emotional serenity, and mental clarity. She operates with the knowing that bodywork is an integral part of this equation, and has felt honored for the last seven years to be a partner on this journey of finding and maintaining this dynamic balance.
Jen’s journey as massage therapist began at East West College of the Healing Arts, where she first became acquainted with Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Asian bodywork modalities of Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Reiki and Acupressure. Her practice, as well as her life, are greatly influenced by these ancient ideas and precepts.
Each session with Jen is unique, depending on the client and their current therapeutic needs, but inevitably integrates some aspect of breath work, TCM, deep tissue and myofascial release. Although unique, each treatment is a constant mingling of East and West, ancient and new; all tools to help the client to fully feel what it is to “be” in their bodies, and then an aide in helping them to go where they want to go on their path of wellness and balance.

Joelle offers a knowledgable touch, which stems from a love for massage that began at six years old and still holds strong today.
She has a passion for and background in Thai massage, Advanced Hot/Cold Stone and Deep Tissue modalities. Her work is influenced by her personal interest in and focus on Qi Gong, a fantastic energy element, and it has blossomed throughout her style. Mix that up with a great respect for CranioSacral and Myofascial Release techniques, and, no matter the pressure you prefer, the result is inevitably relaxing and therapeutic.

Lise is a lifelong student and practitioner of the healing arts. As a massage therapist, she honors the mind/body connection. This comes from a deeply held conviction that true healing must occur within the body, mind, and spirit, on all levels.
As a world traveller her training as a healer spans the globe. She lived in Asia for nearly ten years where she was exposed and drawn to various Asian healing and bodywork techniques. Specifically, traditional Thai massage, Chinese acupuncture, and Ayurveda. A large part of her travels to India were focused on the study of Ayurveda, India’s ancient healthcare system. After her time in the Far East, Lise settled in Spain where she devoted her time to mothering, learning Spanish, and applying all she learned thus far to the practice of daily life and child rearing.
Lise’s path finally led her and her young daughter to Portland. Arriving with the intention of formalizing her training, she attended the Oregon School of Massage to become a licensed massage therapist.
Her passion for Asian bodywork and Ayurveda are an ever present influence in her approach to massage and life. She is happy to share her wealth of experience and guide her clients to acheive their own unique sense of wellness, balance, and harmony.
